Earlier today, Andrew Rosindell M.P.'s issued a statement regarding the shocking case of a 12-year-old girl sent home from Bilton School in Rugby for wearing a Union Jack dress on “Cultural Diversity Day.”
There is no greater signal of national decline, than when our own nation's flag and proud British identity is admonished and branded as inappropriate or culturally insensitive. No child in any British school should ever face reprimand for showing pride in their country. Wearing the flag of our United Kingdom, a flag which represents the unity of our people and nation, should be celebrated, not condemned. We must foster a spirit of unity and patriotism in our schools, where young people should feel encouraged to embrace the symbols that bind us together. The Union Jack should be flown from outside all schools and displayed in every school assembly hall. Too often children are being taught to hate their own country and this anti-British woke madness must now be exposed and eliminated completely from our classrooms.
