Andrew had the following to say of the occassion:
Celebrating the 80th anniversary of Victory in Japan today, with friends and veterans at the Royal British Legion Club in Romford! An honour and a privilege to meet 101 year old veteran, Solomon Sharpe, who served in the far east at that time in the service of King and Country. A huge thank you to all the staff and commitee of the Romford RBL Club for organising such a brilliant day to celebrate a magnificent victory and the end of World War II!
