On Sunday, Andrew Rosindell M.P. had the pleasure of attending Horseman's Sunday this Sunday at the Havering-atte-Bower Green.
“Horseman’s Sunday” is an annual celebration of the horses, horsemen, and horsewomen of Havering-atte-Bower and this event celebrates the horse riding tradition of the village, our countryside, and the important part that horses play in our national life.
The celebration began with the 'Ode to the Horse' and continued with hymns and the 'Presentation of Rosettes'.
The event was closed with 'Prayers of Thanksgiving for Dogs' and a wonderful array of refreshments.
Andrew was accompanied by Cllr. Christine Vickery.
